So I'm told that Palm Civets (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) have been pooing on the Wildlife Bridge!
National Parks (NParks) Officers have spotted Palm Civet droppings on the bridge so it seems animals are already using the bridge - even if it's only as a toilet.
The vegetation on the bridge is suffering a bit at present with all the dry weather. Unfortunately this is during the vegetation's initial establishment period and couldn't really be at a worse time. The contractors are watering the trees a bit to keep them alive but logistics of getting water there make it difficult.
Nobody expected the longest dry spell for years during what should be Singapore's Northeast Monsoon season which most often would bring rain in the afternoon along with the wind.
