***Ok so we are bit slow in blogging about it!***
We had submitted two of our projects for the prestigious Landscape Institute (UK) Awards 2018.
The Learning Forest and Kranji Marshes were both submitted in the same Category: Design for a Large Scale Development. Both projects were shortlisted as finalists with the Learning Forest edging out Kranji Marshes to win.
Aning was in London for the Awards ceremony representing SCLD and by all accounts it was a great evening. The Landscape Institute Awards 2018 took place on Thursday 22 November 2018 at The Brewery, 52 Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4SD.
Aning, of SCLD, attended the event with her husband Michael, and despite it looking like Aning was going to make off with the certificates in the photos she did eventually bring them to us when she came back to Singapore.
In Singapore we were able to follow the Awards in real time via the Landscape Institutes twitter feed @talklandscape so while Aning was receiving the awards we could see the results on twitter. We also had regular updates courtesy of messages from Andy Sturgeon who was also attending the event.
We are very happy for both of our Landscape Architectural projects to have done so well in the Landscape Institute Awards.
See Aning receiving and talking about the Awards from 1:37-1:52 in the LI Awards 2018 – Highlights video.
