Stephen Caffyn Landscape Design wins the Outstanding Award of Excellence at the Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards for Kranji Marshes.
The Kranji Marshes improvement project was intended to reinstate the marsh as a haven for freshwater birds and provide access and facilities for visitors.
Kranji Marshes is now home to more than 170 species of birds, 54 species of butterflies and 33 species of dragonflies, all of which can be observed and studied by visitors without disturbance.
Kranji Marshes - Visualisations vs Photos
When going through our portfolio and site photos it is nice to do a comparision to see how accurate our visualizations and graphics are to the completed project.
Here at Stephen Caffyn Landscape Design in Singapore we use the SketchUp and Lumion to produce our Landscape Architectural visualisations.

Cassia Phuket Thailand
Cassia Phuket - Thailand
The Cassia Phuket in Thailand recently opened also and represents the latest brand from the Banyan Tree Hotels group. The brand concept is very much art, music, and most importantly fun.
Stephen Caffyn Landscape Design were commissioned to design all the external areas. Pleased to see the children's sand pool adjacent to the main pool has worked out well.
Still working on getting some photos of the project but in the meantime check out these cool videos of the project:

Gizmo's 9th Birthday
Gizmo is 9 years old today. Happy Hatchday Gizmo.
It's a normal day at SCLD's office for him and I guess he will have to try to learn to say his new age.
If we ask him how old he is he generally still says "six" or occasionally if I push it he says "I'm five". Time obviously doesn't mean much when you spend all day flying round the office causing trouble.
So in celebration of his birthday here is a little gallery of the last nine years from his black eyed, clipped winged, messy feeding with a syringe arrival in the office, to his present acrobatic flying, white/yellow iris eyed, fully acrobatic flying, trouble making, talking and whistling self.
More information about Giz below.
